By "butchered" I mean trimming the side skirts mainly, and a little from the nose and the rear for a sleeker look. My butchered jobs were strictly done for aesthics, and nothing else. Most love it and many think they're ugly. I've got a few photos of my saddles posted on the Wallingford and Fixed Gear Gallery sites under "Butchered Brooks".
Thanks. Obviously there are many possible modifications. The Wallingford even shows one where a cutout was done, with rolled edges.
