I have a cyclocross bike with Mavic MA3 rims. Currently I have 700x38 tires for winter, but during the summer I use 700x26 tires. I wouldn't go any smaller than that though, and to be honest, in retrospect I think 700x28 would've been a better option. The 700x26 have a pretty harsh ride
