yep. got two of them, and they have a little of that out of the box. the nature of how they work. it's not at all noticeable when pedaling, at least not to me.

IMO, for any bike other than a pure xc race bike or dedicated DH sled can benefit from one. at least if you ride on varied enough terrain and are someone who drops your post up and down already for stuff.
