As it turns out, now that I'm getting the saddle broken in, I can see that such blasphemous surgery will not be necessary. Hey, I've suffered down there over the years, and own just about every saddle made in the never ending search for comfort after four hours
On that subject, my wife threw out a new, sealed and oiled, Brooks Narrow that I had hanging up in the garage for hmmm twenty years. It was part of her effort to clean up a bit.
