So this year i've decided to do an international distance triathlon. As a relay. Am i chickening out?
I've been doing sprint distance events regularly for the last 3 years. However the one event i've always done has been pushed back from the end of April to the beginning of March this year which caught me by suprise. The water was bearly warm enough at the end of April for me and i've neglected my swim training (i haven't done any swimming since my last event which was middle of 2008).
It's a flat 28 mile ride though. Gonna do it on my fixed gear bike again.
Fortunately i have 2 friends who are willing to swim and run.
