i'd also go to your lbs and just testride stuff in your price range, the motobecane is nice for the price but you have to remember to factor in shop labor fees for assemble and new bike tune up unless you know how to do it yourself (and have the tools) and thats gonna cost you like 100 bucks its also def not a $1300 bike on sale for $600 but its a bit nicer than any brand name $600 bike would be
