190 lbs and use a 53 x 16 on a single speed set-up with two brakes. I'm riding all flats with only an occasional stop (maybe every 1.5 - 2.0 miles sometimes as long as five miles! ). Works great; slow to start, but once it gets rolling its all about eating up asphalt. If I had hills I'd definately have to drop the gearing down a bit.
