Post Trainer Bonk

I had my typical breakfast this morning (homemade roll, cream cheese, coffee) and after getting the boy off to school, settled in for a trainer ride. Spent about an hour and 45 minutes pedaling and watching Disk 1 of the '06 Vuelta. There's some good climbing, so I spent a bunch of time in big gears with high resistance to simulate the climbs. Finished up, showered, ran an errand. Got home and had a serious bonk. Dizzy, headache, nausea, no energy, etc. Basically, all of the typical symptoms. Got some food in me slowly and more water and I'm find now.

Moral: eat on long, intense trainer rides!

Has this happened to you?
