When folks say they don't see the point of Twitter, I ask if they've actually tried using it. Twitter doesn't make all that sense from the outside. An individual tweet doesn't convey a lot of information and most are frankly pretty dull. The aggregate of them over time paints a picture of somebody's life.
Twitter also works much better with a cell phone than on the web.
