Yeah iamtim, I'm insane I guess. I pretty much do that route (except I throw in Brea Canyon to Pathfinder, quick left/right jog over Harbor to Old Fullerton and pick up East Road on the right at the summit). After that, it's what you said except I usually stop for coffee at Starbucks in Uptown Whitter.

That would be Turnbull, which becomes Beverly, left on Painter (down the hill a couple blocks), then right on Philladelphia to the Starbucks on the right.
