Distance of your commute

What's your one way - trip? Is the round trip just double that or do you have any add-ons? How lone does it take in the morning and does it take any longer on the way home? If so, why?

For me the 17 mile trip in was between 50 minutes and 1 hr 10 minutes. The trip home was always longer due to afternoon head winds from the West, so about 1 hr 30 minutes.

I did some add-ons as well, like an extra 5 miles east to my gym. On those days the round trip was 44 miles and the trip home sometimes took 2 hours.

Our company is moving in 2 weeks and my commute will be shorter (13 miles) but will be mostly downhill to work and mostly uphill going home. It'll be a straight North / South route so hopefully the afternoon head winds won't be as much of an issue and I'm not planning any add-ons.
