Well, the current ride's (it's sacrificing it's Rohloff for the cause) dropouts are adjustable horizontally, so it would be really easy to singlespeed it. Actually I think I'm gonna turn it into a gearie cyclocross/commuter bike with racks and fenders, maybe a Brooks saddle, thumbies, something to pull the kiddie trailer around the park with when I go riding with the wife and kids. If you ever find your way up here to Mi, I'll let you ride one of my 29ers, there will be no middle way, you'll either love it or hate it...
