Sorry I should have added a smilie... wasn't trying to be rude. Just trying to say that it's difficult for people to respond when so little information is provided.

Unterhausen: This is what people need:

Type of ride - road or mountain
Length of ride
Intensity of ride
starting point (are you willing to travel?)
desired result
projected elevation gain

This would be very helpful. OC is filled with alot of elevation - but if you are looking for a long sustained climb you most likely will have to travel out of OC to LA or SD. The longest climb I can think of is PCH to Newport Coast then up Vista Park or Ridgeline. There might be others. Even that is only a few miles. But you can spend a day doing climbs if you hang in the area.

Now if you on a mountain bike, 'nuther story!
