I voted "Passing" but sitting here really thinking about it I say "Passing on the left."
It ususlly works and I always have hands on brake and I pay attention to what they may do so I can react. ( I am talking about passing walkers on a MUP) If I am overtaking another biker I say "on your left" thinking they know what's up.
