Fixed my pump 1970's Zepfal

I am working to restore my Super Course and got to the original Zefal pump. The pump washer was wasted long ago but I saved the pump for reasons unknown. An internet search didn't provide any resources for old pump parts for Zefal's. Yellow Jersey is even out of those parts "forever". Looking at the diameter of the pump housing and the plunger got me thinking. Hanging just above my work bench are a couple old Coleman Lanterns, hmmm? Well, took a lantern down and sure enough the pump washer from the lantern is the same size and shape as the Zefal. All that was needed was to buy a "clip" at the hardware store to hold it to the end of the plunger. A little grease to the washer and I could get 85 lbs of air into a tubular. Put the pump to the buffing wheel and now it's shiny and clean, just like back in 1973 again!
