I've entertained the idea of adding an e-motor to one of my bents or uprights to use as a commuter. After they finish the rail trail paving this fall, I'll have a fully paved trail system that runs from my house to my office. Don't know how long it will be, I suspect about 13 miles or so, each way. At my speed, that would probably take me about 70 minutes. An e-motor would cut that to around 45-50, a more manageable number.
