They're 26mm at the stem right? Of course they'll fit the stock stem, maybe not by the numbers, but it works (.4 mm is really super negligible).
I've done it, I have a friend who put 31.8 bars into a 26 stem. It's fine, though you might get some marks where the stem attaches.
