Humph. I moved here (Vancouver, WA is a suburb of Portland, Oregon) from Southern California, and we ride year-round*. It's just chillier, and there's a reason there's several local rain gear makers. Other than that, it's a cyclist's Paradise. My wife and I got in 45 miles this morning- showers & sunbreaks, a couple minutes of light hail.
*In December Portland got about 2 feet of snow. The city just about ground to a halt. You Canadididians can stop snickering now.
Naw, that's not funny, the fact it's snowing in Indiana when the only snow left here is a few frozen dirt piles, is. The hyacinths are just about ready to bloom and the tulips should be a week or two after that.... I always expect one last shot of winter in early April, looking at the 14 day, trend, I don't think it's going to happen.... That's a good thing,
