this is what i ate before today's two hour race:

bowl of oatmeal (cooked in water, sweetened with honey) for breakfast +/- 6 hours before my race.

four pieces of hartog's volkoren sunflower seed bread with some cottage cheese on top +/- 3 hours before my race.

this is what i ate during the race -

this is what i drank during the race -

imo you don't need to eat during a 1.5-2 hour race. longer than that... that's another story.
