^^ If you have a very small leak, it could take the whole ride to go, then leak out over the night. There cold be a very very very small hole. New tubes are only a couple bucks. And yes, its always better to buy from a LBS if you can. If you don't know how to change the tubes, take the bike there, and they should be able to show you how.
