No problem. This is a great loop for training rides. There are so many options to add distance and climbing, plus there are plenty of stores along the way for refueling.
By doing Old Foresthill Road, you won't be getting additional climbing, you'll just be avoiding 193 up to Auburn, which is narrow and has lots of traffic.
