I voted yes because they're dirt cheap, and tough as nails. If you can stretch the budget to Open Pro/Mavic handbuilts you'll get a nicer wheel. The POS Aksiums that came on my bike are showing no tension issues or anything after 2500 miles of urban potholey riding with me and a 20-30 pound bag.
EDIT: I outweigh you. My miles have all been with me between 225 and 210.
