Basic crap bike. If you love Schwinns, then go for it. If you are looking for something good, keep looking.
They are kind of fun to look at it and built like a tank (and weigh like one too). I am fixing up a Varsity myself right now just for the heck of it. But I only paid $14 for it.
Decent road bikes are easy to spot: alloy rims, alloy crank set, down tube shifters, no turkey levers, cromoly frame. This bike meets none of that criteria.
