I spent 8 weeks on the couch last July/Aug with a bronchial infection that ended in pneumonia in my left left lung.

I have never quite been able to draw what I think should be full breathe since. kinda scary. Also, since last summers illness, I have developed a weird reaction to the exertion of biking. When I go out to ride, as normal I struggle for the first 3-4 miles (15-20 minutes), then the juice kicks in and it seems the lungs clear and the heart feels great and I just ride. 15-20-30 miles. Hills feel great. All good right? Nope! Within 15 minutes of shutting down after a ride, I start coughing and can't get a full breathe again.

Take care of your lungs. It is a big deal.

Good luck
