or being on the podium/in the money or getting your sponsor's name on tv/paper/cyclingnews etc or winning a bunch of premes or winning the most combatative award. There's lots of things that pro cycling is about besides winning every race.
Either way. It was gutsy, courageous and impressed the hell out of me...but like I said, maybe I'm clueless.
