Not enough brake height adjustment

I just picked up a used Scott Speedster S40 (2006). I don't think it has the original brake calipers. It now has Tektro R358 calipers, but they do not have enough height adjustment. The pads need to be higher because only half the pad is on the braking surface. Do I have any options or am I hosed? Can I get some kind of spacer to lower the wheel? Am I stuck with getting a new brake set?
