I haven't touched it, so I don't know if it's English or Italian, to be straight. And that's the point - I think he actually screwed it INTO the shell, not 'unscrewed,' which put it into the situation it's currently in.
It's threaded and would come out, but it's so fine, and such a small area - nobody at the shop could get their hand inside and carefully put it back into the shell threading.
