Done with the Roadie
Built this up to use for 25+ mile rides in the hills of Austin. 1976 Nuovo Tipo hubs(suicide rear) with Weinmann concave rims, Veloce calipers, 105 Levers, Dura Ace headset, 600 cranks, Thompson 0 rise stem on a threaded to threadless stem, Nashbar Tourmalet pedals, Kenda Koncept tires(these tires suck, but I had them, so I'm gonna ride them until they're toast before I get some better meat on there). Nice ride, 52/18 gearing might be a bit steep for its intended purpose, but I'm gonna go with it until I end up walking up a hill. Not bad for using mostly leftover parts. And yes, that is a short stem, but on longer FG rides I found I prefer a shorter stem for comfort rather than a longer on for a more aero position.
