I hate roof racks - it's a real pain getting bikes up there on the roof, and the danger of leaving them on top when you drive into the garage is also something to keep in mind.
1. Geez. You must really be a wimp if you can't lift a 20 or 30 pound bike up to car roof level.
2. Put your garage door remote in the glove compartment when you load bikes on the roof. When you don't find it in it's regular place, you'll remember why.
