I'm pretty sure you won't get much of a view from Red Hook since it will be over the Hudson between the 20s and 50s so I'd try and get the ferry into Weehawken and pick a spot along River Road where the ferry terminal is located. Boulevard East at the top of the Palisades should be great too, keep in mind both avenues will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4pm to midnight. I'm not sure where you're coming from so you can either ride your bike and take it across the ferry (39th st terminal) or ride across the GWB and make a right on to River Road right from the NJ side of the bridge.
