Just my own observations, but I don't like saddles that don't actually support you under your sit-bones - which seems to be the vast majority of Italian saddles, unfortunately. The old Selle Italia ProLink TransAm was wide enough (I too am 6'2"), had a compliant suspension (the ProLink part), and I bought up all I could find.
Why not try one of the wider Brooks saddles?
