- - Yes, for my Armadillos I have used a dental tool and a pair of sharp stainless tweezers to extract glass specks. A Petzl forehead light makes those menacing shards glint in the tire cuts.

Even though I make every effort to "not ride through sh*t", those glass particles are still out there. The higher pressure tires seem to resist glass intrusions better.
