Thanks to all, I will go with replacing entire crank. Wasn't sure if there woud be a difference in the chain ring spacing, and if so if it the front derailleur would shift properly. At the end of the day I was probablly over thinking it. It's a simple enough thing to try, so I'll just give it a go this weekend and see what happens.
