I've been reading up on these alot lately as I think its a good idea. A quick question...
With the XT hub conversions Velosolo do they swap the axle out for a longer M10 170mm standard threded axle. I might be wrong but I'm thinking this kind of axle is only used with cup & cone bearing hubs? I take it you also need to use a longer axle when using a cartridge bearing hub like the Surly? Something like this maybe..
