I'm sorry but it is highly unlikely that state legislation would pass to allow counties to ban cycling on county roads. 1st, there are many cyclists in the state legislature. 2nd, this State is broke, and organized bike rides bring in cash from out of state and from counties like Denver to rural areas. Practically every bike team in Denver does their training rides in JeffCo which means they spend money their before and after rides. 3rd, organized rides generate money for many public programs, such as hospitals and medical research. We have a Governor that wants a single-payer healthcare system and I doubt he would sign a bill to take money from healthcare. As a precaution, email your representative.
