Just Joined Up!
New member here. I have had bikes all of my life. I currently have a 2002 Fuji Newest road bike. Have not ridden it in, hard to admit this, 5 years. The problem I have with it, it seems like you have to get all dressed up to ride it (especially the special shoes). You can't just simply jump on a ride. My wife and I do a lot of RVing and thought a more easier riding bike would be great for us to go out and explore areas with. Today, we both purchased 2009 Trek 7.3 FX bikes. We liked them for their solid build, nice ergonomics, and price. They have deal now that if you buy by 7/26, they sell for $499. I also have gained a few pounds. We hike and walk alot, but I thought biking might kick my metabolism up a notch and help me shed the extra pounds. I look forward to learning a ton on this forum!
