Just happened to come across this post... next time please PM me or contact us through our website. But regarding the decal issue - not really sure what the deal is, could have been a reaction to moisture??
But what I do know is that we stopped putting decals on our chromed AIR forks several years ago - we will not even do it if a customer requests it. Now, the only sticker you will have on the chromed fork will be the columbus tubing sticker. So the factory might have realized an issue with the decals on the chrome and that is why they stopped that process - not sure but I will check on that.
Was your fork painted or chromed? I have a 2000/2001 Tecno, but it is all painted and I have never had an issue... In fact, your comments are actually the first time I have heard of this issue.
