Serfas Seca RS Review

I don't think that Serfas is a big name for most roadies, but I like the business. They are an accessories company, no handlebars, no seatposts, no cranks or pedals, just accessories.
They also only do business with IBD's. Therefore, the average roadie has never heard of them.
I haven't delved into their entire line (carbon cages are next), but I've been more than happy with the Seca RS tire

So long story shot, I have never been happy with my training tires. Either too fragile, flat prone or fast-wearing. Also the expense that comes with various Continental, Michelin, Vittoria and Vredstien tires is absurd when compared with the Seca.
That being said, these are not racing tires. When you pay $40 MSRP for a tire, you're getting a tire that is going to last as long as two sets of P3R's. The long wear, surprisingly, comes with a good amount of grip. Again, not racing tires, but they are grippy enough to trust them while leaning into a steep downhill curve without worrying about sliding.
I haven't gotten any flats either. Generally I'm pretty good with flats, but I've ridden directly over broken beer bottles and rusty car parts and haven't gotten so much as a cut.
They're also much less fragile than my more cut prone Michelin and Vittorias. Still no cuts or cracks.
For 2010, the tires have been made more grippy, have a slightly different tread patter, and now come in pink, orange and white. I'm looking forward to trying those out.

So yea, whaty can I say? They're light, pretty grippy, light (claimed 215g, I got 222g for both), come in colors, puncture resistant, long-lasting.

Of all my equipment, I will only purchase three items consistently;
-Serfas Seca RS tires
-Vittoria Pave Evo CG tubular tires
-San Marco Regal saddle

That's a lot for me to say.
