I grew up in Cheektowaga, used to ride to Grandma's house in Hamburg with my little brother when I was a teenager in the 70s. We rode up to Lockport once, too. We generally rode on the shoulders on streets like Union Road, Southwestern Blvd. and Millersport Hwy. We would just get on our bikes and ride. Times are different now, though; lots more traffic.
