You're very lucky, Finland is a great place to cycle! I cycled from Turku to Klipisjaarvi and back down to Oslo a couple of summers ago- felt like I was going downhill all the way.. Good luck anyway and just keep on thinking about the nice warm sauna and th freezing cold Karhu you've probably got waiting for you at home ;-)
You seem to know Finland allright As it happens, I bought the kind of gloves you mention last week . At least they´re great for skiing, haven't tried them for riding yet. The temperature is still -20, so I guess I'll try them out today. Let me know when you cycle over here the next time, I'll put a few extra Karhu's in the fridge for you!
