I did 55 miles with some climbing. San Mateo to Woodside, up Kings Mtn, down 35 to 84W, up West OLH, 35 to 84E,down to Woodside, and home. It was beautiful out there, so beautiful in fact that I snapped phonecam a picture of the view on OLH just before it heads into the trees, and sent it to my wife to make her envious.
My climbing legs are slowly returning. The last time I did Kings Mtn, I just rode down to 84 and home, and my legs were toasted (thigh cramps when I stood on the pedals going up the Alameda near Aragon High).
This time, I am pretty sure I did it faster, and added the climb up West OLH, and my legs feel way better. All in time for the rainy season!
