The replacement department I was referred to by the main customer service, told me - to call the regular customer service. I asked the customer service agent if this was the companies way of resolving the original flaws by replacing with NON-functioning locks.

The customer service agent proceeded to put me on hold, despite me calling from Canada - they put me on hold for a timed 5 minutes and 9 seconds, before I hung up.

I spent some good cash ($90 CAD) on the first lock, sent it back to the company, and they send me a non-funtioning lock. I wonder if any state/provincial agency or legal group is proceeding a class action against this company?

arrggh - let me know if someone wants my help as a VERY unhappy consumer.
You can spite them by getting a replacement, then sell it and buy a different brand lock.
