Hey thanks DanteB. I was one of those that did not do anything unless you count playing golf riding in a cart drinking beer. I have worked hard on both my riding and mental games making myself at times making myself get out and on the bike. Some of the hills I had to take at 9 mph and stopping at the top to catch my breath I am climbing at 12 mph and continuing on. I am far from being a good hill climber (still carrying 250+ lbs), but my cardio and leg strength are both improving almost daily it seems. I know I won't be able to keep the 400+ miles per month up every month, but this has sure been encouraging to see. In November and December I would have never dreamed in less than a year I would be doing this kind of mileage. Thanks for the encouragement.
