Less than a mile into yesterday's ride home I heard the distinct sound of something stuck in/on my front tire. No hissing, but, you never know. I looked down and could see a light-colored object in the middle of the tread. I stopped to inpect it....... goathead!!!!! dead center, sharp point going straight in. I knew I had to remove it and fully expected to hear that hiss as soon as I removed it.

Nope. Whew! Lucky me, I guess. It would've sucked to have had TWO flats on the same day.

The rest of the ride home was fine - mid 70's - fall is coming!

This morning's ride in... cloudy, cool (low 60'sF), getting noticeably darker. Time to get the main light dusted off and ready to go. I need a new battery - $150 - D'oh!
