I carry my lowepro bag where it was designed to be carried...on my back. Just don't go too fast or your bag (as well as you back) will get very sweaty. As for carrying my tripod? Well, still trying to work that one out.

Edit: Also be very careful when packing the bag--use the velcro dividers to tightly secure your lens, and put your heavy stuff (telephoto) low and off the body.
