I assume it is the Allez Comp, which listed at $2055. Using 40% of that figure would be about $800, which I think is a stretch for this bike. More like a $600 bike around here. Takes the right buyer, as for $600, someone would be gettting a really nice bike at less than the price of an entry level new road bike.

The 50% target might work on a cheaper bike, like an entry level brifter bike (many sold for around $600 back in 2001).
