That's just one section of the river trail. There are other parts that isn't as depressing. Hey, this is LA, the urban jungle. We don't have shrubbery galore as other places. We have to take what we can get.

Yes, that's the upper section of the LA RIO (SGRT). I was riding down from Griffith Park and had to traverse 9 miles of midweek LA traffic to get there.
