A pickup truck swerved towards me and gunned his engines on a suburban street with a very wide lane today. Then he returned to his prior lane position and continued going straight so it was not a question of him trying to right hook me. The lane was almost wide enough for 2 cars to drive side by side. I was MYOB 3 ft from the right gutter. Visibility was excellent. Not a close call but very irritating.
I have had some near misses where the driver came within a foot of me turning L in front of me while I had right of way crossing at a 4-way stop on a wide arterial road, but not recently. At least those were not due to malice.
