Mule deer like to cross the road along that section, and it is pretty hard to manoeuver when you are going that fast.
As a matter of fact there was a Mule deer that just got hit by a car on the side of the road. Wish I could have done something but I kept going.
What really sucks are the cattle guards in the road.
