Just because he is coming to the end of his career doesn't mean that he is all washed up, or doesn't have the talent left to win. Sure, his age doesn't help, but he has proved that he has still got what it takes, and he is also a very smart rider. I could definitely see him getting a few more wins in the next year or two. No one is debating whether or not he is coming to the end of his career, but for a rider of his talent and pedigree, that doesn't mean that he is desperate for work, limited on his options, or clutching to some unrealistic dream that he can't keep up with.

Great post. It's funny how you can go away from the pro forum for a while and when you come back it's the same negative posters that kept you away in the first place.
